THE HARD TRUTH
NO MORE POLITICIANS.
CLEVELAND NEEDS LEADERS!
TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE
CLEVELAND FOR THE BETTER.

I plan to make Cleveland the ideal city for ANYBODY to live in comfortably and safely without having to worry about the welfare of the community. I plan to bring the people of Cleveland together, as a family, so we can grow and progress in a healthy productive manner. Through education, communication, and time this goal is not too far out of reach. The people of Cleveland need strong leaders that will lookout for them even when they think nobody is. As Mayor of Cleveland it will be my job to protect and serve the people of Cleveland. In this, leadership I will also guide the city to a better path that will promote culture, wealth, unity, safety, health, and education. The citizens of Cleveland and I, have to work together to achieve this goal. You, as a resident of Cleveland, play the biggest part. We are a team and there can be no team without you.

I am no politician. I am a visionary, a humanitarian, a believer, a fighter. I am someone like you who goes through struggles and enjoying life. I am someone who genuinely cares about your well being and your happiness. I want to make sure you have everything you need to live a healthy life. If you are sick, I want to make sure you have proper access to medical help. If you want a new career, I want to make sure you can obtain the proper education and training. I believe that political power belongs to the people and as a leader it is my job to make sure you properly taken care of socially, economically, educationally, and healthfully. It is my job to make sure you are safe in every aspect of the word. Cleveland deserves a leader, not a politician. You deserve more than a politician.
THE FUTURE OF CLEVELAND
THE HIDDEN JEWELS OF CLEVELAND
It doesn't take much to do a quick search and see how Cleveland ranks when compared to other cities in both Ohio and other states. Cleveland holds the title for "Most Segregated", "Most Dangerous", "Most Distressed", and so many more. The problem isn't just a citizen issue but a government issue as well. In an investigation conducted by the US Department of Justice, it was reported that "we have reasonable cause to believe that CDP engages in a pattern or practice of the use of excessive force in violation of the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution. We have determined that structural and systemic deficiencies and practices—including insufficient accountability, inadequate training, ineffective policies, and inadequate engagement with the community—contribute to the use of unreasonable force." The 59 page report, was released December 4, 2014, and asked for immediate change in a timely and effective manner. Current statistics have proved not much has changed and how worst things have really gotten.

As mayor, I believe the police and the community must work together to make Cleveland safe again. The police must have the proper training to deal with situations and to effectively communicate with the community in a way that can be understood by the people that live there. The community lacks trust and hope in their police officers and due to their lack of trust and hope, they will not cooperate or even report the issue to police as they have strong beliefs that nothing will happen anyway. This kind of relationship between officers and citizens, proves that working together is a must in order to fix the problem at hand. Officers can not play their part if citizens are quiet and citizens will not speak up if officers aren't doing their jobs. CPD officers will be required to have community relations and communication training before entering the field.
THE SAFETY OF CLEVELAND
THE UNITY OF CLEVELAND
There is more to Cleveland than what meets the eye, even to it's own residents sometimes. Besides being "The Rock and Roll Capital", Cleveland plays in the big leagues when it comes to being active in the arts. Cleveland can match almost 90% of New York's per capita participation. The analysis conducted by the Cultural Data Project, gives proof that even though Cleveland is a small-big city, it has the attention of a bigger city, outranking the state's capital, Columbus. The Cleveland Plain Dealer conducted their own analysis using 11 cities including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Pittsburgh; Cleveland ranked 5th. Cleveland is the foundation of an Art and Cultural Power House that welcomes all and invites you to bring your own piece to the puzzle and dares you to make it fit. It gives you the courage, strength, and energy to explore and learn other cultures and their art forms. Cleveland can and will be an example of an extremely diverse city that can get along and share and live through others experiences.

Cleveland is also the perfect city to imply eco- friendly standards and renewable energy sources. In fact, Cleveland teamed up with Sierra Club to make the city powered 100% by renewable energy by 2035. With The Land being so close to one of the nations fresh water Great Lakes and having a slight above average wind speeds, I believe Cleveland can achieve this goal by 2035. Cleveland has started using more eco- friendly methods to construct roads and buildings. The most recent street renovations include Market Square and Public Square brought to you by Unilock. Unilock prides themselves on strength and durability. As Cleveland moves forward in becoming more environmentally fit, Cleveland will use LEED as a reference guide to making and maintaining buildings and homes. LEED is owned by the U.S Green Building Council and offers extensive standards to what an effective green building is and how it's supposed to function.

Cleveland is home to many youth. They depend on the city to keep them both entertained and safe as well as educated. The youth of Cleveland is unlike youth found in other places. They no longer want to do traditional sports or play traditional games. The youth now are interested in dance and music, extreme sports, acting, fashion, arts and crafts, advanced learning and so much more. I was once told, the best way to keep a person out of trouble was to occupy their time with something else. It is for this reason, parents and/or guardians, sign their children up for as many activities as they possibly can. With so many programs being scarce, too expensive, overly complicated, or too far away from home, parents/guardians are left with few options to send their youth especially during the summer months. Cleveland's youth actually look forward to the summer months so they can work and earn money through the Y.O.U program and get a meal they normally wouldn't receive at home. If they aren't with Y.O.U, believe that they are trying to earn money another way. The summer months also brings lunch programs that serve persons 18 or younger a meal Monday- Friday. Cleveland has a responsibility to not only the age legal person of Cleveland, but to it's youth as well. The city must also meet their needs and wants. The city and it's people have to be able to push the youth towards their dreams. We must give them their first boost when they need it and we must push them to stay on the right track. It's easy to lose and find a career, it's hard to follow and live your dreams.
As Cleveland holds the title of "Most Segregated", it's kind of hard to believe until you look around the city. An inside joke is about the bridge that connects Downtown Cleveland to West 25th. The people say it's how you know you're leaving the black community to enter the Hispanic/Latin community. It's a joke but it's a good joke because it's true. The east side belongs primarily to the "Blacks" and the Asians, while the west side primarily belongs to the "Whites" and the Hispanics/Latinos. When viewing this city in this manner, it's hard to believe that Cleveland is known for it's many artistic views and contributions to society. Cleveland gave birth to many gems including but not limited to Bone Thugs -N- Harmony, Langston Hughes, Case Western Reserve University, Jerry Siegel (Superman), Mt. Pleasant Wheelie Kings (MPWK), Polish Boy, Kim's and Open Pitt, The Cleveland Orchestra, James A. Garfield, A Christmas Story and so much more.

Cleveland is the land of fighters and innovators. We are believers and achievers, scholars and artists. We don't like treading the path of what others have done. We like to create our own style for everybody else to follow. Cleveland is much more than the city "that hates their women". Cleveland has more to offer to the world than being a good example of what not to do. The people here sleep, eat, and breathe hope; Just look at the Dawg Pound. Cleveland has all the resources it needs to be the perfect city to call home and mean it. Of course, we will have our downfalls but we will always rise above the odds to take the trophy. As mayor, I will unite the city using what we already have and doing what we do best; party and fun. Each community will look to the next and ask, "what are you bringing" instead of "why aren't you coming". We are a team, and we must work together to bring about the necessary changes to shape Cleveland into a place we all want to live safely and artistically.
